What is an Enneagram? The Enneagram is a system of personality typing that describes patterns in how people interpret the world and manage their emotions. The Enneagram describes nine different personality types and maps each of these types on a nine-pointed diagram which helps to illustrate how the types relate to one another.

Now that you know your Enneagram type, let's combine the two and let's figure out what self-care activities work best for you
Enneagram Type One:
THE PERFECTIONIST: Ones place a lot of emphasis on following the rules and doing things correctly. Read more about Ones.
Their ideal self care activity is a creative, carefree flow, like for example:
Investing time on a creative hobbie
Writing poetry
Writing in a gratitude journal
Finding and testing new recipes

THE GIVER: Twos want to be liked and find ways that they can be helpful to others so that they can belong. Read more about Twos.
Their ideal self care activity is intentional time alone or with others. Some ideas for you:
Spa day
Crying it out
Coffee dates
Journaling and self reflection
Lots of hugs!
Go on a morning walk
Go shopping for someone special in your life
Enneagram Type Three:
THE ACHIEVER: Threes want to be successful and admired by other people, and are very conscious of their public image. Read more about Threes.
Their ideal self care activities could be:
Exercising
Staying busy
Planning & scheduling
Listening to a podcast
Reading a personal development book
Taking an online class
Meditation
Listening to music
Take a break from social media
Plan your next goal
Enneagram Type Four:
THE INDIVIDUALIST: Fours want to be unique and to experience deep, authentic emotions. Read more about Fours.
Their ideal self care activities could be:
Being creative
Writing poetry
Writing in a gratitude journal
Finding and testing new recipes
Reading and journaling
Yoga
Addressing emotional needs in whatever way works for them
Stay hydrated

Enneagram Type Five:
THE INVESTIGATOR: Fives seek understanding and knowledge, and are more comfortable with data than other people. Read more about Fives.

Ordering in food
Going on a walk
Watching a documentary
Starting off the day with a coffee
Slowing down and taking a break from their busy schedule
Spending time alone
Meditation
Take online classes to nourish your mind
Enneagram Type Six:
THE SKEPTIC: Sixes are preoccupied with security, seek safety, and like to be prepared for problems. Read more about Sixes.
Their ideal self care activities could be:
Cozying up with a cup of tea
Clearing up their schedule and taking a day off
Naps and snuggles with a pet or loved one
Empowering workout
Watching their favorite movie
Reading a good book
Meditate
Keep a tidy living space
Enneagram Type Seven:
THE ENTHUSIAST: Sevens want to have as much fun and adventure as possible and are easily bored. Read more about Sevens.

Taking a road trip
Long phone calls or chats with a loved one
Creating a routine
Going to a party
Going to a farmer’s market
Working on a fun project
Going to a coffee shop

Enneagram Type Eight:

Working out at home
Taking a warm bath (epsom salts are a plus!)
Going on a hike
Having dinner with a friend
Getting a massage
Cozying up with a good book

Enneagram Type Nine:

Surrounding themselves with candles, blankets, and their pets
Light exercise
Feeling unproductive
Quiet time with a book, coffee or tea
Taking a warm bath
Getting some fresh air + spending time in nature
